Nothing is more precious than family and making sure that you have working smoke alarms should always be a priority. In our experience many properties that we inspect for the first time are found to be non-complaint with either no functioning or expired smoke alarms.

What does a Service include?

• Our technician will perform the following:
• Survey the property to ensure that your property has the right amount of Smoke Alarms in right locations.
• Ensure that all smoke alarms are compliant with ACT legislation. (Meet AS3786 standards)
• Clean all smoke alarms
• Test all smoke alarms as per manufacturers specifications
• Replace all batteries* where required.
• Issue you a comprehensive report including photos.
• *If additional or replacement alarms are required a fee will apply as below

Alarm Charges

Smoke alarms are supplied and installed for:

• $25 per unit for 9v Photo-electric smoke alarm or;
• $75 per unit for 240v** Photo-electric smoke alarm

**240v alarm pricing is for replacement of existing only, if alarms are required in new locations for compliance, the alarms installed will be 9v battery-operated. We only replace like for like alarms according to power type. (i.e. If the alarm is 240v we will replace with 240v).

*If batteries, other than a standard 9-volt battery, are required an additional charge will apply)

How do I pay?

SATS requires you to pay the service charge at the time of booking and any alarms that are to be installed will require payment whilst we are on-site prior to any installation taking place.
