Nothing is more precious than family and making sure that you have working smoke alarms should always be a priority. In our experience many properties that we inspect for the first time are found to be non-complaint with either no functioning or expired smoke alarms.
SATS offers 2 service options to all homeowners who reside in our service areas.
Annual Service $139 inc GST*
SATS will attend to your property (unlimited visits) for any repair service as required, to meet landlord’s obligations. This is an ongoing service that is payable every 12 months. (*If additional or replacement alarms are required, they are an additional costing to the service price)
Once-Off $149 inc GST*
SATS will attend to your property only once. (*If additional or replacement alarms are required, they are an additional costing to the service price)
What does the service include?
Our technician will survey the property to ensure that all smoke alarms are compliant. We clean, test and maintain the smoke alarms as per manufacturers specifications. Batteries are tested and replaced where required. A Statement of Compliance including photos is also provided.
Smoke alarms are supplied and installed for:
- $50 per unit for 3v Li Photo-electric smoke alarm or;
- $75 per unit for 240v** Photo-electric smoke alarm
**240v alarm pricing is for replacement of existing only, if alarms are required in new locations for compliance, the alarms installed will be battery-only operated. We only install like for like alarms based on what is already existing within the property.
How do I pay?
SATS requires you to pay the service charge at the time of booking and any alarms that are to be installed will require payment whilst we are on-site prior to any installation taking place.
